Description

The rapid advancement of single-cell measurements, with their increasing scale, depth, and dimensionality, presents new challenges and opportunities for computational methods that aim to translate raw data into meaningful biological insights. Two complementary approaches have emerged: mechanism-based systems biology methodology using dynamical models, and data-driven techniques powered by machine learning models. While these methods are well-integrated in fields like physics, their application in single-cell biology is still developing. This workshop will feature plenary talks by leading scientists in the field, along with a lighting talk session and a poster session designed to offer visibility and opportunity for interactions to early career researchers. The event will bring together scientists from diverse backgrounds, aiming to foster a collaborative community that applies a wide range of tools—from theoretical biology to artificial intelligence—to decipher complex biological mechanisms in the single-cell era.

Registration will open in April, 2025.
